MEDITATIONS, RITUALS and PRACTICES
to connect and increase talisman power.
IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED ONE OF THE ACTUAL PHYSICAL TALISMANS: It is NOT necessary to perform the rituals and practices listed below to invoke its power. Just being in the presence of the actual talisman and treating it with respect will have a positive benefit. BUT, by performing any one or more of these rituals and practices you will greatly increase your power.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE OF THE PHYSICAL TALISMANS: It is still possible to connect with the power of any of the talismans from a distance. To do so, first read the story on the talisman’s page and then perform any of the rituals and practices listed below. In the instances when the actual talisman is mentioned, you need only envision being in its presence. You can also print out a picture of the talisman and use it in its place.

These are all practices that will increase the power of your talisman rituals. You don’t have to practice them all, but bringing awareness to each of these practices will intensify the power and benefit you will receive from your talisman exponentially.
It is highly recommended that you commit to practicing at least one or two of the following suggestions for one or more days.
FASTING – A Simple Explanation About The Power of Fasting:
Basically, as you put less emphasis on the external, you increase the power of the internal. By reducing the many distractions that we generally get by focusing on external (more gross and tangible) factors, we allow what is internal (more subtle and less tangible) to come to the surface. Our inner voice is always with us, but it is often drowned out by external forces. The power of the talisman is always with us, but it is deactivated by placing more importance on external factors.
Fasting also purifies the body and the mind. The more clear and pure are your body and mind, the more clear and pure will be your connection with your talisman. Consider this a way to tune into the frequency of your talisman.
1) FOOD FAST (CONSCIOUS EATING)
a) Only Water
The most direct and potent fast that one can make is to abstain from all food and drink only water. The amount of energy that our body generally uses for digestion will be freed up and ready to be redirected into whatever else you place your attention.
b) Only Juice (pure fruit and vegetable juice) or juice + fresh fruits
If somehow you are unable or unwilling to undertake a water fast, you can still give your digestive system a break by drinking only juice. Drink only pure fruit and vegetable juices without sugars, preservatives or other additives. Of course it can be mixed with water. If this is too difficult, consider just eating pure fruit as well.
c) Basic Healthy Food
The next level is to eat really simple and healthy foods, preferably raw or boiled, while avoiding any processed or heavy foods. Avoid fried foods, cream, butter, oil, as well as chili, pepper, and other potentially irritating spices. Explore the wonderful world of grains, pulses, seeds and nuts, but do consider soaking (minimum for a few hours or preferably overnight). Have fun exploring gluten free grains as well as some power grains, seeds and foods (such as quinoa, chia seeds, spirulina).
d) Vegetarian/ Vegan
In the very least, consider being vegetarian (or even vegan) for one day (if you are not able to or forgot the day of the actual ritual, it is perfectly fine to make up for it by being vegetarian the next day or days).
Consider that, in general, pork and beef are heavier/ more dense (vibrationally) than chicken, which is heavier than fish, which is heavier than eggs, which are in turn heavier than milk. If you are unable or unwilling to practice being vegetarian, consider eliminating or reducing intake of heavier meats.
2) Tech Fast
Our newly obsession with technology creates a very powerful opportunity for cleansing by turning off television, mobiles, internet, and other forms of technology. If you are unable to do this for an entire day or more, then schedule a time out, even if it means only for a few hours. For instance, you may choose to tune off (and instead tune in) after a certain time in the evening for one or more days.
3) Speak Fast
This does not mean to speak quickly, but rather to slow down, reduce, and abstain from speech (including email, text messages, miming and writing out what you want to say). Be mindful of how much you talk in general and schedule a time (an entire day or just an hour) in which you will remain in silence. Instead, spend time in meditation or simply walking in nature.
4) Sex Fast
Abstain from sexual activity, including masturbation, pornography and dwelling in sexual thoughts. There is a power phenomenon called transmutation of the vital (life force energy) that occurs when one abstains from sex while increasing spiritual and consciousness expanding practices.[/stextbox]

1) AWAKEN THE TALISMAN: Treat your talisman with respect.
An option is to place the talisman on an alter (intentional sacred/ special/ respectful place).
You may choose to also surround the talisman with some other things that you also consider sacred, special or inspirational, including fresh flowers and candles or to light an incense. This is a way to activate the energy of your talisman by showing it respect and believing that it is special and that it has some special power. Consider this a way to awaken the power of your talisman. Keep your talisman on its alter or in a respectful place while it is in your possession.
2) INITIAL CONNECTION WITH YOUR TALISMAN
Contemplate the power of your talisman and how your life can benefit from it. Spend at least a few minutes in front of the alter, or just in the presence of your talisman, in silence and in contemplation. Contemplate the power of your talisman and why it has chosen to come to you. Connect with your talisman in whichever way you may feel comfortable. If nothing else, spend some time in silence.
3) WRITING EXERCISE: INVOKE YOUR TALISMAN
Now go deeper. Take your talisman and place it next to you as you spend some time WRITING. Begin by writing out the power of your talisman. Write about how your talisman can help you in your own life. Ask your talisman to guide you and to reveal its power to you.
Be as specific as possible. Allow the power of your talisman to inspire and guide you. Ask your talisman to help you. It may be helpful to write as though you are writing directly to the talisman. Ask it for help. Ask it to guide you. Pause in order to have some answers come to you. If you do not know what to write, you can always resort writing about gratitude.
It can be very helpful to write in a “stream of consciousness” manner. This means, to just keep writing without thinking too much about what you are writing. Even if nothing seems to come, then just writing that nothing seems to be coming up. Don’t stop, don’t edit, don’t block the process, don’t get too stuck in your head. Just write and write and keep on writing. Ask for help, ask for guidance, express gratitude, or simply express that you feel stuck or confused.
STAY CONNECTED
Make a commitment to pay attention to how your talisman may continue to speak to you and guide you in the following days and weeks. It will be of great benefit to continue this writing process for several days or even longer.
4) MEDITATE WITH YOUR TALISMAN
Lie down and close your eyes. Place your talisman over your heart while cradling it with one or both hands. Concentrate on your breath. Feel your talisman’s power entering and healing your heart. Listen to its messages as it speaks to you in various ways: through your thoughts, your body sensations, your deeper feelings, ect. As you simply concentrate on your breath, allow whatever comes to the surface to do so fully. You may begin to feel vulnerable, uncomfortable and your body may even begin to twitch or tremble as certain emotions and blockages deep inside you begin to surface.
Trust that your talisman knows you and knows how to heal you. When you feel ready, slowly open your eyes and begin to move your body. Sit up and spend a minute or two in gratitude. This would be a good time to incorporate any other form of meditation or prayer that you may already have as a personal practice.
Whatever it may have been that you asked from the talisman, thank it for helping you and consider it done. Remember that the one of the most simple and powerful prayer/meditation is to express gratitude. Place the talisman back on its alter when you are done.
5) REPEAT AS NEEDED
Repeat any of these practices as needed or experiment with your talisman in whichever other way that you feel inspired and guided. Remember that you will continue to stay connected with your talisman even (and especially) after you have gifted it to the next person.

VERY IMPORTANT
EVEN IF YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO NOT PRACTICE ANY OF THESE RITUALS AND PRACTICES, IT IS MANDATORY TO PASS YOUR TALISMAN ON TO THE NEXT PERSON WITHIN ONE WEEK.
Holding on to your talisman longer than one week is considered disrespectful and will begin to deactivate its positive power and benefits. It will even begin to reverse its effects and you will begin to experience negative karmic effects.
Be aware that there are some exceptions and that your heartfelt intention will count more than anything else.
ACTIVATE YOUR TALISMAN BY RELEASING IT
Your talisman power becomes activated in your own life only AFTER you have released it by passing it on to the next person. You get to choose who will be the next person to have this talisman.
Gift the talisman to a person of your choice within ONE WEEK of having received the talisman.
Remember that you will FOREVER be a part of your talisman’s family circle. Each time a new person receives the talisman and connects with it, you will continue to receive its BENEFIT. The more people in your talisman’s family circle and the more diversified the people, the more it gets activated and the more power you continue to get from your talisman. Therefore, CONSIDER choosing to gift your talisman to someone you know would bring it to another city or even to another country.
